5:00 Minute Mental Dump

I decided to try something different for this Blog Post. I will set a timer for 5 minutes and just type whatever comes to mind. I will do it in bullet points to share each thought. We shall see how this goes.

  • Just because you can... doesn't mean you should. Facebook is going to cost a lot of people their jobs, friendships, and ultimately will place a limit on where they can go. I've seen so much trash on social media lately. Instead of making a post to "give a stance" I decided to pray. That's actually what we are called to do biblically... Not have an opinion, but pray. Christians should be Christlike in all areas. I pray for those that are bound by Social Media and always want to make a statement with NOTHING to say.

  • Don't stop - Keep going. There are so many gifts that the world may never see because people give up right before the break of the day. Don't stop. Your future and the future of others depend on your persistence in making it. The idea that you are sitting on could very well save the life of someone tomorrow. You aren't here just for today, you are here to make an impact.

  • No is an answer and a whole mood. It's often uncomfortable, but necessary. Pursuing excellence will cause you to constantly evaluate your practices to ensure that you are doing all you can to move forward. We are all human, and we all make mistakes. The only perfect person died on a cross and was crucified because of people that were perceived to be "perfect."

  • The crowd will always choose Barabas. Not because they hated Jesus... it was because they hated the truth. The truth will cause people to be uncomfortable and resistant to change. Don't worry about what others do... Stay committed and connected to doing what you need to do to be successful.

That 5 minutes was fast and fun. I think I will be doing this more often.

I hope you enjoy my candid thoughts and mind dump.
